Henrike Meyer (*1984 in Hoya/Weser) studied theatre, history of art and literature at the Free Universität Berlin followed by visual communication and art and media at the University of the Arts, Berlin. In 2009, she was on exchange at Cooper Union, NY. She graduated with her mid-length film Feldarbeit. In 2013 she was awarded 'Meisterschülerin' (MFA) at the University of the Arts with her project Heimsuchung. For her current project To be an Extra, she got the 'Film/Video-Künstlerinnen' grant of the Berlin Senat in 2015. She lives and works in Berlin.
